6:45 - 8:00pm ASHRAE Business and Program Presentation

Dinner Presentation Topic:

As buildings are designed for lower energy use, the resulting reduction in cooling loads presents an economically feasible opportunity for systems that use zone-level, sensible-only cooling equipment. These systems combine a dedicated outdoor air system with chilled-water, sensible-cooling terminals to deliver a flexible, energy efficient solution to provide comfortable spaces and simplify maintenance.

This presentation will provide a system level overview of Sensible Cooling Terminal units, Dedicated Outside Air units, and the potential chiller plant configurations that feed those components.
