Technical Session: SMACNA National Duct Fitting Standards with exhaust demonstration

Eli Howard, Executive Director and Patrick Brooks, Sr. Project Mgr. with SMACNA National Technical Services Participants will learn about the impacts of duct fitting selections with a live demonstration comparing the performance of fitting types. This session will include discussion on how various inlet and outlet conditions affect fan and overall ventilation system performance.

Sheet Metal Training Center Open House with demonstrations

The Sheet Metal Workers Local 80 Training Center will facilitate technical discussions and live demonstrations highlighting various concentrations of the sheet metal industry including; Detailing (Plans / Specs), HVAC and Air Conditioning Service, Testing and Balancing, Welding and Architectural Sheet Metal.

(1) Professional Development Hour (PDH) upon completion of attending each area of demonstration

Strolling Social Hour will take place during Training Center Open House with Detroit Mobile Bar and Red Coat Tavern food truck
